Why Certification?

The Lay Ecclesial Certification program through Saint Leo University is a unique opportunity for Lay ministers to receive a well rounded Pastoral Education which will aid in the ministry of the Catholic Church.  With professors from the University and beyond the participant will grow in the knowledge of all they will need to work within the Church. The participant will explore Scripture, Systematic Theology and Pastoral Concerns in a one year program.

The year long  program meets the first Saturday of each month beginning with Morning Prayer 8:30 am (Optional) and class begins at 9:00 am and ends at 5:00pm. The cost is 30.00 per class. All classes are at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 210 West Lemon Street, Lakeland, Florida 33815
